Sure would be nice to have a second guy outside of Davies that exceeded expectations. It's saying a lot, to be positive-that nearly every guy in that clubhouse is considerably worse than they should be so far.

That's the start-but half the position players have been terrible too. Hopefully some one joins Aguilar in the trying not to suck parade.

This game was a likely loss as soon as Anderson was scratched. The chances of having 6 or 7 relievers hold any opponent within striking distance are pretty low.

 

It’s going to be tough for the next few days with more short starts on the horizon.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

More Ben Gamels and less arcia/perez/braun. As with the pitching needing less throwers we need less free swingers. I'm not knocking swinging outside of baseball, mind you.
