So I guess they knew about this just a couple hours ago, had to drive Burnes in from Iowa where SA is playing, and he just got there as the game was starting.

 

He probably didn't have enough time to get warm properly if they drove to MKE and only had a couple of hours.

2019 Jacob Barnes is starting to feel a lot like 2012 Kameron Loe.

Barnes is not a major league pitcher. Keep the turnstile turning and send him down. He's had more than enough chances to get it together. Tough spot sure but walking two in front of Arredondo is ridiculous.

Barnes will be optioned tonight. Perhaps Taylor Williams will he recalled. Houser three 5 innings on Monday so likely won’t be an option.
