Love it when umpire incompetence (potentially) decides an entire game...

Machines please. They can still stand back there and pretend they are making the call though. That way they can keep getting drilled with foul tips.

Should be a tie game, robotic strike zone can’t get here soon enough

It would’ve been a 3-1 count with a robotic zone anyways. Just would’ve been a 1-1 count instead of 3-0.

Makeup call on 3-0 lol.

What was there to makeup though? The call Senzatela and Butera were complaining about was a good call?

Senzatela had at least somewhat of a gripe on that no call. That was pretty close compared to that 3-0 strike call.

True but Braun woulda been 3-0 the AB before.

Both Cain and Braun got shorted in their AB’s. Ump is all over the place.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Can someone tell me Cain’s average velocity of hit balls? Seems like he makes a ton of soft contact.

Also how many pitches does he see per AB? Always seems like he’s deep in the count

86.3. MLB average is 87.4.

Also, his Hard Hit % was actually above league average last year, but is a little below league average so far this season.

Not just “at Night” anymore.
