I am steaming, there is no way that should be a triple. Completely inexcusable, MLB needs to issue a statement on that one. Other than not wanting to be complete morons, why wouldn’t fans just throw beer on all of the plays near the wall if it doesn’t impact the ground rules?

Braun didn’t miss that ball because of the beer. It is a triple unless you are trying to claim a beer shower slowed Braun down from getting the ball and throwing it in. Maybe you want to claim the cup messed with his ability to see the ball...but looked like Braun just failed getting under the ball at the wall for his jump.

 

Fan should be thrown out regardless though...bit ridiculous. Must be expensive seats they don’t want to boot him out of.
