Safe to say Keston is getting pretty comfortable in AAA...1.039 OPS and a 0.316 BA after tonight, I think

The Ks are a slight concern, but yeah, he's doing exactly what a top hitting prospect should be doing. It's been a long time since this team has had a bat like that on the cusp of the majors.

Hiura had a walk tonight too! Baby steps...
"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Big High-A debut for former Brewer K.J. Harrison, but keep in mind, he's no longer a catcher. By the way, trade partner Gilbert Lara is doing well, but back at Low-A.

Small sample for sure, but the crazy k rate has been dropping over the past 7-10 days. With how high his slg% has been all year, the k's were a product of him just getting himself out swinging at balls outside the zone. When he locks in and swings at hittable pitches he does serious damage, particularly for a middle infielder.
