Me: Man, when's the last time DeGrom gave up more than three runs much less five?

Me: I'm sad.

Boy DeGrom just is not right tonight.

 

 

DeGrom hasn't been DeGrom for a while. He has given up 14 runs in his last 11 innings.

 

It's those type of outings that often precede a TJ surgery. Not to say if you have poor outings, you are headed for TJ, but guys who have TJ or just an elbow issue usually start with struggles like these. Hopefully not the case, but if it is, at least DeGrom got paid by the Mets before hand.
