We're winning this easily if Bledsoe sits. He has been just killing us today.

2 for 10 doesn't even tell the whole story. That awful foul at the end of the 1st cost us 3.

Not saying the series is over, but a pretty crippling loss for the Celtics. Got the split on the road and get to go home for three games...but lost the first one. Pretty much pressures you in needing the next two. Because going back to Milwaukee and winning both seems too much to hope for. Especially coming off losing 2/3 at home (hypothetically).

This game illustrates why I hate the NBA. 16 point lead with 4ish minutes left and it takes 20minutes in real time to finish! How is fouling, free throws and that ******** exciting? How bout when a team is over the limit in fouls, when they commit a foul outside the 3 point line the team gets 3 free throws not 2. Would end this crap at the end of games. All the leading team needs to do is make the FT and it's over. With the BS rules of only 2 FT it creates this crap at the end of the game. BORING!!!!!! WASTE OF TIME!

The NBA has a different playoff split. It goes 2-2-1-1-1 not the traditional 2-3-2.

It's been like this everywhere for Kyrie. He pounds the air out of the ball and sucks the air out of his team. Yeah, he's extremely talented, but there's always a "but". Actually, there's always a few. Defense, leadership, efficiency, ball movement... he gets his assists, but so did Marbury and Iverson. You can just feel the tension when someone else misses a shot and knows he thinks he should have gotten that shot. They got him back and are actually playing slightly worse than they played last year, even though they have otherwise been basically the exact same team all year. They lost their identity and mojo as team-oriented overachievers. I know there are other factors like Hayward's struggles and Brown's slump, but it's still just incredibly hard to believe you can add Kyrie and actually get worse. Yes, his skills are sensational, but there's no style points. His incredible handles and subsequent lay-ups aren't worth any more than a boring 15-foot bank shot from Tim Duncan... and he's a joke compared to Duncan and many others in defense and intangibles.

I'd put him somewhere around 20 in the league if I'm starting a team to win this year, and that's not even considering his next contract.

This.

Oh, that's right, we're not supposed to respond with one word posts. So for emphasis, I'll say it again. This. ^^^^^

Yeah it's kind of annoying. I wish they'd make the bonus harder to get in the NBA.

Awesome win. Really shouldn't have been this close.

Fun thing about this one is the C's didn't play that badly.

The Bucks can play better and the Celtics played pretty good, almost as good as they can. Bledsoe had a terrible game (0-4 free throws), but still managed to make the big drive to seal the victory. We do need to make 75-80% of our free throws.

Oh my God Bledsoe. Worst game of his career?

Rewatching the game, and taking nothing away from how terrible he was on offense, Bledsoe did do a very good job denying the ball to Boston’s primary ballhander in the backcourt, which paid off with several rushed possessions.

Bledsoe was active on defense all night when he was on the floor. Surely don't want him shooting 4/15, but the defense as a whole *until the last 4 minutes* was pretty solid, and Bledsoe played a role in that.

Celtics are starting to come apart a little bit. Kyrie wanting playing hero ball and attack the rim, and getting ticked at his teammates when they don't get him the ball is going to play right into the Bucks strength of defending the interior the way they do.

If the Bucks are going to switch on most picks, Kyrie has to attack and look to do more on the mismatches, whethervthat's scoring 40 or dishing out 15 assists.

I remember Game 4 of the NLCS probably better than any other game. We were up 2-1 in the NLCS, a chance to put ourselves on the brink of a World Series. It was a hard fought pitchers duel that essentially turned into a game of chicken to see who would be the first to blink and worry about anything other than getting that next out. I say this as a big Counsell fan -- he blinked first. Deep in an extra inning tie, with 2 outs and a chance to face the pitcher and almost certainly get to the next inning, he tried to get through Cody Bellinger with a runner in scoring position. No one knows what would have happened the next inning, but we never got a chance to find out. Instead of being deflated, the Dodgers tied the series and regained the momentum and we know what happened after that.

I guess my main point here is not to downplay the importance of Game 4 just because we don't NEED to have it and have regained homecourt regardless. There is just such a big difference between 3-1 and 2-2. Win it and put the Celtics in an almost impossible position -- beat us 3 straight times including 2 at Fiserv. Lose, and the series goes becomes a best of 3 with the momentum pointing in their direction. This is still an enormous game and they should treat it with the same intensity that they treated Game 3. Would love to get Brogdon back on the court for 15-20 minutes.

I don't think Brogdon is going to be a contributor in this series. At this point, a few minutes to start to shake off the rust would be all I'd expect from him.

I'd sure love to know what Patty C is going to show up each game. He plays with a high energy and goes after every rebound and loose ball with ferocious determination, but sometimes he just looks really lost on defense and completely overplays his man or the ball and makes dumb fouls or gives up easy passing lanes or easy dribble drives to the basket. When he's on and focused, he *seems* like he's an asset on the court, it just seems like (and this could just be my perception) when he's overplaying, he's just a detriment out there.
