Bronson missing games 1 and 2. Will reevaluate then.

Brogdon I assume you mean to say?

Not sure who gets hit worse, the Bucks without Brogdon or the Celts without Smart. Brogdon is much more likely to be back this series than Smart however.

Yeah, auto correct got me.

Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

Bucks in six. Celtics in 5 is funny to me. Really? This is a team Jason Kidd's Bucks pushed to 7. The Bucks were dominant all year. Everyone seems to have to given Boston a pass on the regular season, and I can't help but feel they're only doing that because it's a storied franchise.

I do think they're talented but after 82 you are who you are. The Bucks are a better team.

It has absolutely nothing to do with what they did in the 60's or the 80's. It has to do with them being a very good team last year and then adding two max level players into the mix. It has to do with the fact that the Bucks either play without Lopez, or how that they can figure out a way to play MUCH differently than they did during the season with Lopez on the floor when Horford is out there as they were -44 when those two played were on the court at the same time. It also has to do with them being a team that takes a lot of 3's, makes a lot of 3's and we're a defense that gives up a lot of 3's.

And I'm not giving them a pass on anything. They were +4.5 during the regular season. That's pretty damn good and they were working two stars back in with Heyward starting to look better and better as the year went on.

Predicting the Celts if 5 is...just stupid, but I feel like people are REALLY overlooking some of the matchup's in this series in thinking the Bucks are just gonna walk past the Celts.

Exactly. They dogged it all year and it's not as simple as flipping the switch in the postseason Yes, they swept an undermanned Indiana team, but they have no answer for Giannis. None. Bucks sweep.

Boy, I don't know if I should root for Philadelphia or Toronto. It's hard to figure which would be the easiest team to beat.

I think Philly is by far the easier team to beat but it's a moot point because they're very unlikely to advance. Toronto and Milwaukee have been far superior teams all year. Strange things do occasionally happen, but I wouldn't be surprised if Boston and Philly are totally dismantled, whereas I would be pretty surprised if they even win 3. Can't wait until we don't have to hear about their so-called star power ad nauseum, at least until next fall.

In the one game the Celtics beat the Bucks this year, they shot 55 three-pointers and made 24 of them (44%). They won by four. I dont see Boston being able to do something like that four times out of 7.

The postseason is a different animal and the regular season results dont mean a ton (and one of our wins against them was only by a point). But still, theres a lot more that has to break in Bostons favor for them to win than for the Bucks to win.

Go Bucks!

George Hill is the 2nd-best player on the team and has been for a while. Can't believe people don't think he's worth $18m on a one-year deal. The only guy besides Giannis you can count on to contribute without doing so much frustrating stuff that you start to question his contributions. He's the top priority to retain this off season.

Bledsoe was really good most of the year but he looks like a total headcase already, just like last year's Boston series.

Lopez is kind of getting played off the floor, as some of us feared.

I thought this was supposed to be an easy series and we were just overthinking it being worried about Boston.

It's not halftime of game one yet. Detroit was leading at half time of one of their games, IIRC.

I'm not even saying we're going to lose. Just don't know why anyone expected an easy series.

I think a few people said it would be easy. I think most people (here) expect the Bucks to win a hard fought series.
