2019-04-18: Dodgers (Urías) at Brewers (Davies) [Brewers lose, 3-1]

Putrid offensive performance wastes a very nice Davies start. Two days in a row of the offense not showing up. Hopefully they swing the bats for Chacin tomorrow.

The Dodgers are tough and a difficult match up for the Brewers. Probably the best team in the NL. A split in this series would be great IMO.

Since they should have known the Dodgers were their main competition, getting a couple righties to hit all their lefties would seem like a logical move. Obviously the Dodgers knew we'd be awful against lefties and added talent. There's a lot of time left, but I think our weaknesses are showing real nice and shiny-like.

I agree. This team was lefty-heavy on offense in the playoffs last year, and managed to double down on that, dropping Santana for Gamel. I can't really understand a reason why, other than just assuming that Stearns love him some lefty power for that short porch in right in Miler Park.

I can't believe Perez was waived around 3rd with 2 outs and the tying run coming to the plate in Yelich. Inexcusable, Ed.

That really made me mad. Yeah, that outfielder had a poor throw in LA but good lord. You don't do that with your MVP and best hitter on deck! :angry

Don't question Eddie ever. He has possibly the safest job on this team. He's been making the same mistakes for years and never gets called out.

The Windmill lives!

He must have compromising photos of CC. Keeping that clown out there makes about as much sense as McCarthy keeping Capers all those years. :tongue
