Brewers ticket rep

TURBO

Anyone have someone they can recommend for a ticket rep?

Would appreciate a name and number if at all possible.

Thanks!

What are you looking for? Like a new rep for you as a SSH? Someone for group tickets? Single game tickets?

single game tickets. not a big order, just whenever I decide to go throughout the season.

If you are not a season ticket holder, I think you would just call the general ticket number. Sorry, not sure what that is. They don't post it prominently on the web site since I'm guessing they believe most people order their tickets online. Is there a reason you don't want to do that? You have the ability to pick your exact seats by doing that.

edit: found the ticket office phone line: (414) 902-4000

Thanks Patrick...

I had heard if you have a rep, you get the ridiculous fees waived and just pay the actual ticket price.

I'm guessing that might not be true for the kind of tickets I purchase...

A few years back I ordered tickets for like...10 of us and have had a ticket rep call me every year (until this year) asking if I want tickets. Every time I order through them they do waive the fees. If they call me and leave a number I will let you know. I never wrote it down because they always reached out to me.

Almost all places waive fees if ordered over phone. The fee is basically charged by the software provider.

hmmmm

I swear I was charged fees 2 years ago on a phone order...

I'll call and find out.

The Brewers DO NOT waive fees for single game phone orders.

If you are a season ticket holder, that is a different story.

I know you just stated that as a fact, but I just told you I had my fees waived and I assure you, I am not a season ticket holder.

Edit: I didn't tell you exactly, but I mentioned it earlier in this thread.

It IS a fact that there are fees for phone orders. Not saying it's not possible that if you are a stout dude that perhaps they waive them, but they do charge them.

And OldSchool is correct, there are no fees if you purchase tickets at the actual Miller Park Box Office in person.

Putting words in bold makes it no more fact than if you dont. Theyve never charged me fees when I've called. So it is NOT a fact. See how we can play this game?

I am not sure if you are trying to poke fun at my username or whatever, but what I can say for a fact is when I bought 2 tickets for the area in right field on the ground level it came with no fees. Maybe it's because it was a special area? I am not sure. When I also called and got 6 tickets in the 100 level they also came with no fees. I can say for sure that is a fact.

I have now tried 3 different times to call, all 3 times put on hold for 10 minutes, then kicked to an ad for tickets.com.

Geez.

stoutdude's experience notwithstanding, I'm nearly certain that the kind of arrangement turborickey describes (where you can reach out to a particular Brewers employee and get tickets without a service charge) requires a season ticket commitment. I'd guess at least a 20-game commitment, but it's possible a 10-pack would suffice.

For someone with whom you have at least an indirect association, Zak Thomas is the ticket rep who offered last year's Brewerfan ticket discount. (I'm guessing the 2018 sales from that angle didn't meet the minimum needed to offer it in 2019.) Zak is at 414-902-4657. At least you might be able to get some of your general questions answered.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

I had already been in contact with Zak, he said he only did group outings, etc, and that I'd have to talk to the ticket office.

I caved and ordered online after waiting another time on hold for 10 minutes, then getting kicked to tickets.com. 4 times total, just got tired of wasting that time. Ordered 4 tickets to the June 22nd game (special ticket package Lorenzo Cain Super hero bobble) and in doing so it cost an extra $19 in fees. ($3 of which was to have the tickets mailed to me...I like hard copies)

It is just ridiculous.

I called at different times of the day each time, so it wasn't like I was beating a dead horse.

Frustrating.

When I worked in the Ticket Office years ago there was a $3.50 per ticket fee for phone orders + a I think 4$ fee per order. Special promotions and the like waved the per ticket fee and just had a 5$ per order fee. The fees were the same online or over the phone and the only way to avoid them was to come to the ticket office. Which is open Monday-Sunday regardless of if there's a game or not. I can't remember the exact hours when I was there but I think it was 9-5 M-F and 11-5 Sat and Sun.

Keeping in mind this was a decade ago now.

It was one of the most annoying things about working there as pretty much every person who bought tickets on the phone complained. Most people who bought them online called to complain. I'd wave it on occasion with the excuse of 'oh sorry must have put in the wrong fee code' to the higher ups if ever called on it (rare).

Many times Season Seat Holders would call after the Season Ticket reps went home and get all uppity at you for not waiving the fees because their rep would both waive the fee and charge the season ticket holder price. While I could have gotten away with waiving the fee, I could not access the season ticket holder price for Single Games. So that always made it rather annoying.

At least the Brewers don't go through ticketmaster.

My two Bucks playoff tickets, $88 face, plus $29 in fees for each ticket.

I'm SSH, but if your goal is just attending a game, really the best way to do so 99% of the time is a day-of order on Stubhub. The absolute best is a scalper at the stadium, but that's not for me. I just hate the pressure of that your selection gets limited. Unless it is a summer weekend (even some of these work) or a giveaway, the price is very very often less than face on SH even with the fees. I've already had to sell off a couple games I can't make and I didn't even get face back. But it's hard to beat an MLB game for <$10, which I have been able to do before even with winning Brewers teams.

If you just stop separating the fee from the ticket in your head it gets easiest to move on with life, lol. The face price is a lie for most things. I just bought 4 tickets to Jurassic World Live at Fiserv, they were $30 each and the total was like $180.

I don't know why I didn't think of this before you ordered. But I would have just ordered the tickets for you through my rep and transferred them to you. I wish it had crossed my mind.

lol

Good thought though...

Dad and I have had good luck going the scalper route. Since we only get to a game or two when I visit in the summer we generally try to get the best pair we can find. Last summer was the first time we had to pay face but the seats were worth it. With that said, I would be hesitant to count on that working out as well with more than 2 people.
