Braun throwing to the wrong base, Arcia flailing away at the plate, Moose struggling at second base, Claudio being asked to pitch to several righties in a row, yep sounds like a recipe for blowing a three run lead. The crew has had many poor at bats since the first couple of innings. Hopefully they can get back on track and pull it out.

The crew terrible cold weather team. Look like they can’t wait to get back to their hotel room, and in bed, under the covers.

What are you basing this on?

How bout those 4 cold weather games they lost against the cubs last year. I don’t see a bunch of reds players dressed in winter masks and such. Lots of Latin players and southern Californians prob doesn’t help either.

Your body doesn’t move well in it and it’s harder to get a grip on the baseball. Very slick when cold.

I don't buy the body doesn't move wellaspect, when you are in the game you are warmed up and feel fine, I can attest to this based on plenty of cold football playing

The first part of your body that loses dexterity and touch in the cold are your extremities. Especially your exposed fingers.

Are you suggesting the Reds' players all come from cold weather states?! :laughing

or that will work I guess.

Never understand why players will still pull into the switch.

You'd think the best hitters in the world would be able to hit something, somehow to the 3rd base side.

Every time I see one of these early season games with no one in the stands as it’s 35 degrees it makes me appreciate Miller Park that much more. Wonder how much that saves our attendance yearly. Has to be a big factor.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
