Season Ticket Benefit Question

MrTPlush
How does entry work for certain events...is it strictly one person per ticket on account or are some events more lenient? For instance I usually just go to games with one other person (2 tickets), but I would really like to bring a close friend along with me too for some of the special events. Would I need a third ticket on account for them to join us? Curious if anyone has experience taking advantage of any benefit/perk that involves an event and not just memorabilia/physical stuff.

When you get your season ticket package you will also get your membership id which will allow you into the games early. You also will get a Media Guide, information on the park and so on. Inside of there will be coupons to bring extra people in for early entry.

My understanding regarding those coupons is that it's not for "extra people" it's just something you need to give them (along with showing your ID) in order to gain entrance. We have two seats in our plan and my son and I have taken advantage of several of the early entry games. I guess I never thought about it, but they have never asked for extra "proof" that I have two seats, they just let us both in with the ID.

Biggest complaint I have about the early entry is the long line. We have arrived at the park 20-25 minutes before the early entry starts and have been pretty far back in line. Sometimes by the time we get in, it's only 10-15 minutes before general entry. I have suggested to our ticket rep that they check everyone in and use a "holding area" until the early entry time.

You definitely do not need to have the SSH ID and coupons to get in early. You need one. Your ID will suffice. I have gotten in with my wife and kids on just my ID, I have also given my wife the coupons so they can get in while I park the car somewhere off site. My account has 2 tickets. Youngest kid is still free, but if we go as a foursome I usually buy a 3rd ticket at lowest possible price and we find a spot to sit.

I also highly, highly recommend taking advantage of the Ballpark App upgrades once in the park. On the right night you can upgrade to something behind home plate for $10. It is NOT paying the difference on face value, it is sometimes a far better deal than that.
