Remaining top free agent predictions

Does anyone think one or both of Keuchel/Kimbrel won't be signed by opening day? I'm starting to think both guys are going to start the season as free agents.

At this point they could probably get more money waiting until the season starts and some team gets desperate after some injuries.

All the players saying X player not being on a team is bad for the game. These players continue to price themselves out of being signed, and are now going to cross their fingers and hope enough players get injured that their demands are met. What saints these guys are...please Josh, explain to me again how the owners are the only bad guys here?

If this is true, Boras is seriously an idiot. Wow what a great deal that would have been for Maldonado. Considering he's going on 33 and a terrible hitter, and he's only made $8.5 million in his career...$12 million is life changing money. He'll be lucky to make that much over the rest of his career. What in the world was Boras thinking?

Maldonado has ONLY made $8.5 million so far? Lol must be nice. Just meant to be humorous. :laughing

I know to us it seems like a lot. At the same time, the upfront salaries are high so Uncle Sam is going to take a huge chunk. Then his agent takes a chunk. Then the MLBPA. I would be surprised if half that money made it's way into Maldy's pocket. And if his career was over right now, he might still have to work(with no marketable skills other than baseball) unless of course he invested his money wisely. Adding $12 million is a game changer.
