Hope Rodgers starts the second half. Just because.

Because I want to watch Twirly's head explode ;)

Haha, exactly. I also want to see a second half comeback to tank us in the opposite direction in the draft. Just because, why not?

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Packer fans are so spoiled. Get into a situation where an end of season game doesn't have playoff indications, and the games don't matter? Well, it matters to the Lions, who are trying to end the season on a good note for Patricia. It matters for the young guys on the Packers that are getting extended play. It matters for Philbin and the rest of the coaching staff who are coaching for jobs next year. It matters to the fans that still paid a high price to be sitting in that cold stadium today. Saying that the game doesn't matter is a joke.

Effort level is pretty lacking today both offensively and defensively. I think we're going to see a pretty major roster turnover this offseason. It's going to be exciting to see what a GM that is actually interested in player acquisition other than through the draft and UDFA can do with a large amount of cap room at his disposal.

Well, we sure aren't playing like it matters. And Philbin isn't going to get any real consideration for the job regardless of what is being said.

Sounds like Rodgers wanted to play, so he played.

Sure, the organization should have the final say. They obviously either don't or didn't want to exercise it for whatever reason.

Maybe in future season Rodgers will learn from today & start sitting out the last couple two tree games of every season after we've been eliminated from the postseason.

We're playing backups up and down the roster on both sides of the ball but somehow it's smart for our franchise player to be protected by these backups?

Backup players are NFL players too.

But Rodgers is out now. I'm sure you are happy. Actually, I'm guessing that you aren't.

Yes, I'm totally happy that our franchise QB possibly got a concussion in a meaningless game. He never should've been out there in the first place.

Zero energy. Effort is pathetic. Announcing is kind of a weird combo of the sleepy voice of Robert Smith & the overexcited/over the top counter part.

Sad coming off two weeks where Philbin had these guys at least putting out effort. They completely quit so far on him today. Audition over for him

It bothers me that "Packers" hasn't been painted in the end zones at Lambeau all season. Seems incredibly lazy to me.

They switch it up I think. A couple years ago it was but it hasn't been the last couple iirc. I don't know why and agree it's stupid.

Fire Mark Murphy. He should not be immune from criticism.

He was handed an enviable situation when Bob Harlan retired and turned it into a dumpster fire. But at least we have a sledding hill, right?

TT was literally losing his mind and Murphy did nothing for 3 years. But he has hired plenty of cross country and field hockey coaches, so we should trust him with this next hire, right?

I am having a hard time deciding what I think of Kyler Fackrell. He seems to be washed out an awful lot, but gives a solid effort and seems like a good team guy. His sack total is a little misleading, as he's had a couple 3-sack games that has padded the total. Still, he's providing more than Matthews, at a fraction of the cost. I don't think he is ever going to be a player you have to game plan for, though.

Murphy is a bum. I have zero faith in his decision making. But hey, at least he thinks he is qualified.
