I see.
"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Stearns and Mark A must not want to make any moves this offseason as they have now let Goldy and Corbin both get away, and with how much prospect hugging is going on I doubt we do anything.

There is no inability to make moves. Goldy wasn't a fit for the Brewers and Corbin was over priced for the Brewers. There are plenty of moves yet to make and the winter meetings haven't even started yet.

Somewhere Angel Perdomo is shedding a single tear ...

Not a major move..

Could be ...

No one thought Wade Miley was a major move when he was signed.

He wasnt.. it was sheer luck that he was even good.. every time he

Took the mound i felt like we could give up 10 runs very easily.

Is this a joke? He allowed only 3 runs 3 times. The Brewers found him the same way they found Chacin--advanced metrics. The Brewers found that Chacin had one outstanding pitch he needed to throw far more, and they found Miley had one pitch he needed to throw more. Both had terrific years.

I mean, trading for Christian Yelich was sort of a major move.

Hmmmmmm..... head scratcher... Not even Winter meetings yet and already people are in panic mode. Yelich & Cain didn’t come until late in off-season. Corbin wasn’t going to happen nor do I think it should have. Goldschmidt didn’t even seem like someone we would target. Why anyone would be irate with DS & MA for not making either move doesn’t seem justified.

FORMERLY BrewCrewWS2008 and YoungGeezy don't even remember other names used

Sure it’s December 5th. But the Cardinals got better, the Nationals got better, the Cubs will get better, and the Dodgers also will get better. Meanwhile the Brewers sit here agreeing to do nothing because they don’t want to spend a few extra dollars or trade off some prospects who possibly will never amount to anything. Sure the Brewer people think Hiura will be great, but if that’s the case then why isn’t he going to be on the opening day roster?? And don’t give me that stupid Super 2 answer, if he was good enough and they felt that he was the answer, they wouldn’t wait.

Another long time lurker checking in. When does the train to WOAH SOLVDD territory depart? Asking for a friend...
