Chiefs vs Rams - Ref winks at Goff

Lol.

Nobody watches the Rams. They have no incentive in "big marketing" them through to the Super Bowl. They would be better off pushing the Packers or Cowboys through. I don't even see the incentive anyway. The NFL is wildly popular and the playoffs and Super Bowl are American holidays. People watch it whether it's the Giants or the Jaguars.

A silly out of context wink is definitive of what exactly? "No sweat Jared, this is fixed!" And he's going to do this on the field where it can be picked up by one of the 1200 cameras.

This is so silly.

It's not though. This has been happening for generations. Favre was one of the most ref-chummy players there was. I'm not even sure that clip is definitive that he's winking at Goff. There is another official that comes into the frame at the very end. The refs shoot the breeze with players all the time. It could be a non-vocal way of saying "it's on them." We haven't a clue.

This is nothing, and not remotely suspicious.

I do think there are certain players who get treated differently by refs because of who they are but it is more because they develop relationships over the years with certain players. There is not much to this story though.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Every week, and I mean every single week, my Facebook feed is littered with half of my football friends claiming that fixes are in that the NFL is pushing one team forward while holding others back, and this is prevalent with fans of every team. Yet nobody has ever been able to definitively State why certain teams would be favored or pushed While others are not. Fans of the Packers claim they are being held back by the NFL, and yet I can see viking fans claim the same thing about their team even during a Packers Vikings game.

It's just the nature of fandom to want to believe that your team lost for a reason other than they weren't better than the other team. What I really don't understand is why so many people watch sports if they believe the outcome is this heavily predetermined.

This is the point Keith and other conspiracy theorists cant refute. If the fix was in, they would want the Cowboys, Packers, and others to win. They get massive national ratings when theyre contenders. People in LA barely care about the Rams, let alone the rest of the country.
