Friday game, Saturday doubleheader complete -- Perth takes all three games.

Zach Clark - 4-for-10, 3 R, 1 BB, 2 K, 1 SB, all three games in LF

Alex Hall - 5-for-11, 3 R, 1 HR, 6 RBI, 1 BB, 3 K (switch-hitter!)

Jess Williams - 2-for-9, 2 R, RBI, 3 BB, 2 K, 1 SB; the 19-year-old LF bat has played LF exclusively, he struggled at 2B/3B in both the ABL last winter and in Maryvale. We'll see next summer if the Brewers are converting him as well.

And of course, just like that, Williams is starting at third base Sunday AM.

Alex Hall's three-run double is below.

Later in the game (next day, actually, rain-delay split), he would homer (video here).

Hall finishes the game 4-for-6, two doubles and a home run, four RBI.

Perth wins in Korea by a 23-2 score. Check out the pitching line for the 30-year-old Korean starter (box score, and yes that is MLB vet Pete Kozma).

Hall finishes the game 4-for-6, two doubles and a home run, four RBI.

Hall was 0-for-4 with two K's in Game Two, but his team rolled again, 15-2, for a 38-4 doubleheader sweep. Jess Williams played third base and was 0-for-3 with an RBI groundout in the 7-inning nightcap.

Wednesday debuts info at the links for Orlando Arcia and Domingo Santana.

RHP Tristan Archer, entering his 7th pro season with the Crew, made a Tuesday relief debut in the Dominican (box score, HR allowed), but a tweet Wednesday indicated he was already replaced on the roster, so we'll keep an eye on that.

RHP Wuilder Rodriguez tossed a scoreless inning in Venezuela Wednesday.

Brutal day for Australian farmhands Saturday, each played both ends of a doubleheader --

Zach Clark 0-for-6, five K's, OPS down to .514 through 14 games

Jess Williams 1-for-6, three K's, error in LF, his OPS at .517 through 14 games, all ten hits singles

C/DH Alex Hall 0-for-7, five K's, though his season-to-date has been strong (.872 OPS).

And yes, their teams lost all four of the games played.

This post made me shudder. Seriously, I just shuddered reading the numbers.

Wednesday -

RHP Tristan Archer allowed three inherited runners to score, though his box score line will show 2/3 scoreless inning.

Pitching Change: Tristan Archer replaces Jose Cisnero.

Yermin Mercedes doubles (2) on a line drive to left fielder Franchy Cordero. Engel Beltre scores. Yamaico Navarro scores. Jorge Bonifacio scores.

Erick Mejia flies out to center fielder Tommy Pham.

Sergio Alcantara lines out to first baseman Ryan Court.

***

Jesus Aguilar 0-for-4, now 2-for-14 (just one K). Orlando Arcia 2-for-4, now 5-for-14 (just one K).

***

Newcomer big league camp invite RHP Deolis Guerra had already made 22 (!) relief appearances in the Venezuelan Winter League, the most recent was December 5th.

Guessing the Brewers said "that's enough".

Not so fast, scoreless inning on Wednesday.
