New Marlins Logo

Marlins fans: are we gonna be good this year?

Marlins management: look! Now colors and logo!

No kidding.

Thanks for the 360 million dollar gift for our new playground.

Enjoy the 63-98 team.

New colors, so please buy more of our ridiculously overpriced stuff.

With your added support we might even field an extremely competitive 70-92 team in 2019.

Bold prediction: Miami and Milwaukee made a deal. Milwaukee let Miami use the italicized "M" because the Brewers are going back to the ball and glove logo for good.

Maybe the M was the player to be named in the Yelich deal. If he wins the MVP Miami gets the M, bit of an insurance policy to save face with the fans

Just don’t like it. Marlins are so majestic, so strong. I’d go silver green blue—you know, like the fish. Not like disco/black light/dance party. Ugh.

^^^ This. How many other teams' uniforms' colors are truly about the city -- especially only one aspect of a very large & diverse city -- and not the nickname/logo/mascot/whatever?

Pittsburgh comes to mind. Black & gold are based on the Pitt family crest.

It's sad that franchise has 2 World Series championships and the Brewers have zip.

Very very very sad!

At least when the Brewers were good, they got there in a sound way. The Marlins sold their soul for a Series ring -- and of course it worked twice -- only to tear it all down immediately and totally undermine the fan base's trust in the team for many, many years.

Unsure, but you could also assume the silver & blue used by the Detroit Lions are the same as what is used by the Ford Motor Company's logo.
