A worthwhile listen, we're spoiled by this podcast all season, thanks guys.

Apology for not linking earlier, but portions of each of the three episodes with Chris Mehring and Kyle Lobner posted since the end of the Timber Rattlers season are still relevant, especially the most recent, so enjoy catching up during this early offseason.

Sunday November 18th:

AUDIO via Matt Pauley's Brewers Extra Innings Podcast: "

A lot of MLB hardware is passed out this past week and Christian Yelich wins the NL MVP but Craig Counsell comes up short of the NL Manager of the Year award. We do our best to put a bow on the fantastic season of Yelich while debating if Counsell was more deserving of the MOY award than Atlanta's Brain Snitker.

It is also week 2 of our Organizational Prospect rundown. This week, we focus in on the players who spent the majority of their seasons at the Single-A level with the Carolina Mudcats and/or Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. Brew Crew Ball's Brad Ford is back for the discussion."

Brad's discussion begins at the 16:00 minute mark.

Enjoyed this insightful full-length interview (38 minutes, download here) with 2016 3rd round RHP Braden Webb (University of South Carolina, was uniquely eligible to be drafted as a redshirt freshman at the time).

The interview is linked from the BaseballPastor.com website, and while there are several Christian references during the chat, it's hardly pound-you-over-the-head-stuff, so don't be concerned if those references aren't your cup of tea for a podcast. It's mostly a baseball journey and personal growth journey discussion.

Webb discusses in quite a bit of detail just how close he came to quitting the game after his first pro season (Timber Rattlers in 2017).

Not only did Webb deliver on his promise in a big way during the 2nd half of 2018, where he ended the season with four strong appearances with AA Biloxi, but he notes that the same teammates who pretty much couldn't stand him in Appleton grew to bond closely with him in Carolina this past summer. Forthright discussion you don't hear too often.

I popped the interview in and it filled one of my morning work commutes nicely, perhaps you choose to do the same.

There will be plenty of audio linked from BrewersOnDeck events this weekend, but do eventually find time for this one if you're able.

No players mentioned, not a surprise there, but some insights into the changes in store for this affiliate's front office operational staff with the move from AA to AAA.
