What would it take to get you to trade Yelich?

I think it's more of just a fun hypothetical exercise moreso than any actual speculation.

Exactly. Just a conversation in a slow beginning to the Hot Stove season

I'd want Vlad Jr.... Barring injury, Vlad Jr looks like a HOF type talent.... Like the kind of guy who could hit .380 with 45 HR's in his peak seasons. I'd trade Yelich for him and even throw in Davies or Anderson

The David Stearns era: Controllable Young Talent. Watch the Jedi work his magic!

Playing fantasy baseball, watching Field of Dreams, buying a Mega Millions lottery ticket: Good.

Speculating what it would take to trade a guy who was just traded less than 10 months ago: Too frustratingly unrealistic to consider.

Again, it's not speculation. Just a hypothetical in a slow time of year, like someone said.

I don't know why it's frustrating to anybody, no one is being forced to participate in this discussion.

Think you’d need to to get the next young & upcoming ace who is controlled for 4-5 years at least. A Kershaw, Mad-Bum when they first broke out. A Thor who would actually be healthy enough to pitch. Can’t even speculate on who that next young guy is. Think only way a deal would make sense is if you are trading 4 years of young MVP entering prime is to recieve a young controllable CY young caliber pitcher who has yet to hit prime. I love Yelich but to actually have a Kersaw, Zito, Sale type arm when they were young and pre/entering prime who be something we haven’t came close to beside Sheets in how many decades?

Again I don’t know who that pitcher would be, maybe Walker Buehler? Is he going to be that type of special HOF arm? But only deal I’m taking is one for that kind of arm with the control and age similar to Yelich who is legit Cy Young contender. I think I just value a young star Ace over star OF..... mostly because historical we have had some great offensive players for many years of control.... I have seen very few Aces that were controlled. Be cool to see a guy even better than Sheets on a team with ability to score a few runs (not the Sheets gave up 1.... so we lose)

Proud member since 2003 (geez ha I was 14 then)

FORMERLY BrewCrewWS2008 and YoungGeezy don't even remember other names used
