Yelich drops out of the Japan All-Star Series

Christian Yelich has withdrawn from participating with the MLB team in the upcoming Japan All-Star series.

 

Yelich was one of eight players announced to participate back in September, but he's understandably going to get some rest after the Brewers' postseason run. Following a great first season with the Brewers, Yelich is the favorite for the NL MVP Award, which will be announced on November 15.
