Enjoyed this insightful full-length interview (38 minutes, download here) with 2016 3rd round RHP Braden Webb (University of South Carolina, was uniquely eligible to be drafted as a redshirt freshman at the time).

The interview is linked from the BaseballPastor.com website, and while there are several Christian references during the chat, it's hardly pound-you-over-the-head-stuff, so don't be concerned if those references aren't your cup of tea for a podcast. It's mostly a baseball journey and personal growth journey discussion.

Webb discusses in quite a bit of detail just how close he came to quitting the game after his first pro season (Timber Rattlers in 2017).

Not only did Webb deliver on his promise in a big way during the 2nd half of 2018, where he ended the season with four strong appearances with AA Biloxi, but he notes that the same teammates who pretty much couldn't stand him in Appleton grew to bond closely with him in Carolina this past summer. Forthright discussion you don't hear too often.

I popped the interview in and it filled one of my morning work commutes nicely, perhaps you choose to do the same.

There will be plenty of archived media from BrewersOnDeck events this weekend, and those will all be linked in this thread that has filled your offseason thus far, but do eventually find time for this one if you're able.
