Dubon news

TURBO

Brewers infield prospect Mauricio Dubon (knee) is on track to be ready for the start of spring training.

Dubon tore the ACL in his left knee in May while playing in a game for Triple-A Colorado Springs and was forced to miss the remainder of the 2018 season. The 24-year-old had a shiny .343 batting average and .922 OPS in 114 plate appearances with the Sky Sox before suffering that injury. He's racked up 117 stolen bases in 486 minor league games.

Barring another injury, Dubon will be in Milwaukee at some point next season. Everything is there except for the power, and he even showed improvement in that area. (Although that could be the CS effect.)

I think it depends on Arcia. They cant afford to have two middle IFs trying to find themselves at the plate at the same time.

He needs power and patience. He had a .343 BA with a .348 OBP this year. Major league pitchers are going to figure out how to get him to make a lot of outs really quick with discipline that bad.
