After the "no collision"/Posey rule, there isn't really a reason to slide into home. Smoltz was all over Dozier/Muncy for his running through home, but why not?

Strange how that happens, but it does. Miley didn’t get any expanded strike zone this inning. Not that the pitches actually were in the zone, but none of them close to the edge got rung up for strikes. Changed the at bats that whole inning.

If Chacin gets through 5 it’s not a big deal, if he happens to struggle early would have been nice to have some big arms for multiple inning stints.
