Counsell lost the game in the 5th inning by not intentionally walking Barnes. If you walk Barnes there you make the Dodgers choose between Kershaw or tying the game.

Lol. No. We lost the game and possibly the series because we can’t score more than one run despite many opportunities.

Stupid STUPID Counsell NOT walking Bellinger and Grandal last night has put them in this position. Granted, they may have lost anyway last night, but that was such an obvious decision, and for whatever reason when all the analytics(which is what they use continually to make decisions) tell you the IBB(s) are the right call, he deviates from that...Then today, doesn't walk Barnes to get to Kershaw and force them to take him out or try to tie the game win-win. All the "magic" he has performed thus far, sure wore off the last two games.

Pretty mighty fall for the Brewers the last 24 hours. If we get shut out Friday I hope the crowd boos the entire bottom of the 9th. Pathetic showing by the offense when it matters. They faced good pitchers, but they have just flat out sucked beyound that.

Your takeaway is this was Counsels fault? A team that scored 2 runs in the last 20 innings was done in because they didn’t walk a few hitters?

Brewers offense is embarrassing and was for about 85% of 2018. No one should be surprised at home many runs we aren't scoring.

I’m actually surprised at Yelich and Moose. I didn’t realize how badly they would fall apart.

I think we all know Jesus was a nice surprise earlier in the year but not a guy you count on and Cain would be up and down but you can’t pull him because of his defense.

I can buy losing games 7-1 with our starting pitching and their hitting, but not 2–1 when guys like Peralta come up so big. That stings.

Tough series for LHB. It seems Moose and Yelich have faced an LHP 95% of their at bats in this series. The disappointment is Jesus and his 0-17 with runners on. Can't have a guy in an RBI spot absolutely fail over and over.

Off topic but these series should be 2-2-3 instead of 2-3-2. Get some real home field advantage going.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

CC made a mistake but he did not lose the game. Im not sure what you have seen from our hitters that makes you think they would be crushing another pitcher.

I'd say our inept offense had a little something to do with losing this game. Had the chance to land a haymaker in the first and failed to throw a punch.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

We really lack a true run producer and it shows here.

RBIs matter.

Rest of series, move Braun to 1B and put Santana in RF.

Santana definitely needs to be in the lineup and Yelich needs to be moved way down the order.

No, Yelich will be fine back in mke, mark my words.

Odd assumption. But I’ll bite, why?

maybe now our offense will wake up since being down by 4 every player can't tie it with a HR, have to get a few runners on.

would have been nice for Yelich to do that back in the 3rd.

o man, IBB to Machado, could have plunked him instead
