Was Tim Lincecum just on the phone in the Dodgers dugout?! Who the hell was that?

Ha! Saw the same thing.

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

I mean, what are Brewer hitters infatuation with swinging at balls in the dirt?? So many of them do it...it's not even like the pitches they swing at, have some crazy break to them that that is where they end up...they start down and stay down and yet...they swing.

Tough only scoring 1 there but Kershaw is already looking gassed.

The "what have you done for me lately?" crowd on here is disheartening. Yelich doing Yelich things for a month is the reason the Crew isn't working on their long irons in Florida, instead playing in the NLCS. He carried the team, and the team needs to pick up some of the slack. Sheesh...

You can still be disappointed that he doesn’t get a ball in play with a guy on third with less than two outs. Both mid sets can exist. It’s not lost on many what Yelich has done for this ball team.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Yeah the rah rah see the positive in every single failure thing is getting old. It is a live game. We can get mad at stuff.

No one expects Yelich to get a hit every time but to be unable to put a ball in play as often as he has this series is a problem. Cain took it to heart he wasn't getting it done. Yelich needs to do the same.
