HAdn't opened this in a while and came iinto an argument about infield fly rule. Wow, can't believe that's even debatable. It's not to prevent a DP, it's to prevent a triple play. cmon.

just get one here and get outta here

No its not, it is in play with only R2 and R1. The batter would have plenty of time to get to first

I see what you mean, I phrased bad. but exactly. it only applies if there is a guy on first and second or more. Not when it's only on first. So that you can't drop a pop up and turn into a DP by messing with the players. It's a complete no brainer rule and undebateable.

Why are you allowed to turn a DP on a ground ball but not a flyball?

so you advocate that when bases are loaded that the D should be allowed to fake their gonna catch and then turn a double or triple play. Have fun with that BS. You will be the only vote in the world on that side of the argument

I honestly thought to myself maybe Santana should've started tonight before it started. I think I would've been right.

Who do you bench? Braun? Yelich? Nope.

Edited to say Yelich. Other than walks it's been two weeks since solid hit.

I know it’s just one run but how bad did Gio hurt us tonight? What a heroic effort by the bullpen.

Not at all. Gotta score more than one run. Can't blame Gio.

One run in one inning? You can absolutely blame Gio.

Yes the offense is horrible but Gio did his part too

I mean, he gave up a run in an inning and it's been clean since then, so he's not totally wrong.
