I continue to wonder why we ever traded for Schoop. Facing lefties and he has seen...zero playing time.

 

I get why we traded for him. It just hasn't worked out. I'm more confused about why he continues to make the playoff roster with no real role.

 

That’s even more confusing. He is never going to start...seems pretty obvious. Almost seems more sensible to carry a 3rd catcher at that point so you aren’t terrified to use Kratz/Pina as a PHer. That in itself gives you a PH upgrade.

Yes. But that isn't what he is doing. He went and got a date with a new girl just to make the old one jealous.

 

It's not that. He has done this for years. He gets tickets to big games right behind home plate and wears his bright orange Marlins gear simply for attention.

Ryu is better against righties than against lefties. Hopefully it means Shaw will replace Perez. Arcia should start every game the rest of the postseason.
