While the Brewers August rotation numbers were some of the worst in baseball to boot. That is a mystery that will never be solved.

 

Do they maybe see him as a pen guy rather than a workhorse starter? My only guess here.

 

Possibly keeping his innings manageable knowing we could have a post season run...????

 

He also didn’t do much with his early starts this year. I remember just waiting for him to take a rotation spot and run with it every time he started early in the year and it just never happened.
