Can't argue it is a little backwards that their own ticket account site has Stubhub plastered all over it but then if you use it you are punished, Lol.

Do we know for a fact that people who sold them on StubHub were penalized?

StubHub is the official ticket partner of MLB.com and by default, the Brewers: LINK.

If they penalized people who sold their tickets on StubHub then I think they made a huge mistake. StubHub ticket buyers, due to StubHub's team and league partnerships, are typically treated the same way as fans who purchase their tickets directly from the box office from a customer service standpoint. I know they don't like other ticketing resale sites, but I can't fathom that they would penalize StubHub customers?

I have only sold on StubHub & got no e-mail or even a call back from my rep today.

Ooh boy. That post will ruffle some feathers. Morally, people stand all over the place on reselling tickets. I think it's fine, but they didn't promise us presales.

I see no issue with what they did ethically. A bit annoying, but the Brewers could list World Series tickets at almost any price point and sell out. They price them the way they do so joe blow has a chance. Reselling hurts that and I think they're within their rights to stop it.

I don't think being a long term ticket holder gives you the right to scalp. You have the right to sell a possession at the price someone will pay. But if they decide they don't like that and block you from buying in the first place? Fair game.

You know with such a heart jerking story like that it sounds like you would actually want to attend those games after all the suffering...instead of selling them for a paycheck.

I am attending both Friday & Saturday evenings. Reconsidering my partial seasons for 2019.

I talked to my old rep Jason and he said he'd provide a code tomorrow morning. He did want to feel convinced that I 100% planned to use the tickets and not sell. Not that he could stop me once I get the code, but i have no intention of selling on SH for profit. Especially not the extras through presale, I'm thrilled to get to pick a seat location I want... assuming i can get something at least decent.

They can try their best, but they'll never stop reselling. There will probably be more seats available for joe blow this way on monday, but a majority of those will get snatched up by joe resale using software and hundreds of accounts and any profit will go out of state. They are best off selling tickets primarily in person if they want to keep them away from scalpers

The password I get through work to get discounted tix in the regular season isn't working for the corporate partners presale, so I guess I'm waiting until Monday...

I just got the password from my rep and there were a ton of seats available still. I went with some sort of field level infield seats in a good section. I think there's going to be a surprising number available in the WI presale, I really hope they don't all go to johnny resale and his software.

I never got a call back from my rep. So no code. I'm pretty upset. I don't appreciate them messing with my finances. I was making some nice $ reselling tickets. I realize many of you disagree with that. How much credit do I get for supporting this team through thick or thin since there were Brewers?? I mean rolled up in a blanket @ County stadium on those April nights with 8000 other crazies? Thousands of home games attended over the last 50 years. Mostly losing seasons & now we FINALLY taste some success & they cut me out like this. This was a perk we were promised & earned. I imagine they are selling some new season accounts by doing this. I hope they enjoy their new friends.

It's hard to feel bad for someone with that kind of attitude. Perhaps leaving tickets for those that want to attend the game but dont want to pay an absurdly marked up price is the way of the future. Or maybe not, who knows?

I tried finding 4 tickets for game 3 Right at 10:00 this morning. Nothing available on the Club level and nothing in the few Loge level areas I searched for. I went with best available, which was Terrace Box.

That's surprising. With the password I was given that I looked with at 9:30 this morning, there were 4 together in all the field level sections. I didn't look loge or club because I was happy enough with field level seats considering the price difference is minimal. The field level seats were all good to the point that I assumed all sections had pretty good availability.

I'd tend to agree to be honest. Half this guys career posts on the board are in the trading post section, makes you wonder how often he comes here aside from trying to sell tickets.

Trying to get rich selling Brewers tickets doesn't sound like a very good plan. Probably wouldn't quit the ole day job over it.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

how expensive do you think WS tickets will be in Boston day of game 1 or 2?

I am so glad this happened to you, and I hope you cry about it forever. Scalpers suck.

Game two will basically be free after we smoke them 15-0 in game one.

Not that I’ll be lucky enough to get tickets but how much are World Series tickets? I heard $235 for 400 level? That seem crazy high but maybe I’m wrong.

Yep, 400 level was $225 plus $10 per ticket fee (plus the $3 per order fee)

Here are all the prices: https://www.mlb.com/brewers/tickets/postseason/pricing
