World Series Tickets

Greenleaf1
10-20 game SSH would have received an email by now. Hope I'm wrong.

I am just guessing here, but my intuition is that what is left will be opened up to 20-game SSH on Saturday morning and 10-game SSH on Sunday morning. I would guess the emails for that will go out today or tomorrow. I could be completely wrong.

I don’t think this will be the case. I’ve contacted my account rep multiple times (I’m sure he’s sick of me by now) to ask about WS ticket availability. He said he believed there would be a SSH presale today and then the WI presale on Monday. Then general sale at some point after that. He said there wouldn’t be a separate 10-pack presale, but I could do the WI one. This all looks to be how it is playing out.

Also, I believe 20-pack holders are included in the SSH presale that is going on now. They are included in all other SSH promotions.

It is pretty obvious the system flagged those who sold seats. I know they track that, because when I sold via stubhub on my own, without using their system, the tickets would say "pending stubhub resale" through the Brewers website.

Again, I think it is shady as hell, especially since they sell these seats without game times. But I don't REALLY care since I bought the strip already and I doubt the games happen.

It won't prevent anything either. The secondary market will flood with outrageously priced seats.

It’s sounding like they withheld the emails for anyone that sold their tickets, although I never received the email that supposedly went out about the earlier postseason presales. Fortunately I contacted my account rep prior to that though. I think that might have been a fluke though.

Is the password for this presale your account number or something else?

I’m guessing there won’t be much inventory left on Monday so I’ll be stuck with the Secondary Market. I sure hope the prices on StubHub go down from the existing prices (as they are over-the-too expensive) once more tickets become available. The only thing is that this won’t be until 48 hours before game time.

A lot needs to happen for any of this to matter though, so we’ll see.

Okay, I retract my guess. I think you are correct, looks like 10-pack holders are likely out of luck. I was surprised as a 10-pack holder how many great seats I was able to get for all of the postseason games up to this point. I have NLCS Game 7 tickets that are just a few rows behind the Brewers dugout. Looks like the trade-off is going to be no WS tickets.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Yes, I was very please with the tickets I was able to buy for the Wild Card, NLDS, and NLCS being a 10-pack holder. I was able to buy Club level seats for all games (some even in the infield). That’s my go-to level.

In 2011 we could only buy one game in each the NLDS and NLCS.

I have always believed SSH should get an option to buy their strip plus one additional for every seat they hold up to like 4-6 max. Then these accounts should no longer be eligible for getting tickets outside of general public sales. Give them their chance to get additional tickets upfront, not 4 more times. They should also probably get some opportunity to get better seats with their strip instead of saying their strip is in the Terrace while the presales are loaded with field level etc.

Anyone who opted not to get their strip should get their 4 per game rule up until the World Series. This is where it should change to 2 per game unless you sold 50% or more of your tickets...at which point, yes, you should be locked out.

There has to be a better way than it is now. You deserve to be locked out if you are selling a bunch of tickets frequently, but at this same time the strip is garbage when all it does is give trash seating options (thus people selling and then upgrading in other presales). That should not be happening in my opinion. Give the SSH good options to begin with when buying a strip and let them get additionals upfront.

A lot of that makes sense. I would be much less inclined to care about these presales if my seats weren't in the very back row of loge infield by all the obnoxious standing room people. If I was given an option to pay more for field level or had I gotten simply a middle row loge infield ticket...I wouldn't bother.

There probably are people buying the tickets and selling 80+% of them, I can understand locking those people out. But the person that sold their game 1 or 2 of the NLDS tickets like me for minimal if any profit due to the stupid game times...that I find annoying.

Exactly. I would do exactly the same. Why fault SSH who opt to sell and buy again when you originally gave them crud seats? How does that even happen honestly.

And once again agreed. Why are we blaming people who bought tickets when the dates weren't even known let alone the time of day. I guess at some point you look at it and say, "Okay odds are the WS game times won't work for them either because they keep selling their tickets." I had all the intentions to make a NLDS game #1 or #2. I had to buy tickets for both hoping and expecting one time would work. I was pretty bummed when I had to sell them, not really happy even if I made a profit.

If you complain to your rep they will give you a code. The policy seems to be lock them out unless they ask. You are still a customer, they don't want you angry. They just hoping you don't care or don't notice.

I emailed mine, I will call her on lunch if I don't hear from her by then. Amazing how when I ask to buy a parking pass...she's johnny on the spot and I have a confirmation within 10 minutes of my email going out. But whenever I've had to ask for codes for presales it's radio silence...

Reason number 78 I hate the Brewers ticketing system. Once they give you seats, there is no way to say no thanks. Even if you hit no thanks, they are still sitting in your cart. If you cancel order and back out, you are locked out for 10 minutes. It is just so clunky and not user friendly at all.

What kind of seats are available out of curiosity...for those that have an unresponsive rep.

If location matters a lot, Game 5 is much better but obviously that may not happen.

I'm either going with game 4 or 5. I don't know that I'd want my upgraded seats to be to the 4th game of a 4 game sweep anyways...so if game 5 doesn't get played I'll probably be happy to just get my money back. I'm definitely going to all games, but 2 will likely be those last row loge seats.

I would want to be as close as possible in Game 4. Might get hit by the champagne from Brent Suter.
