World Series Tickets

End of next week would seem a good bet based on how it has gone. Probably SSH presale Wednesday/Thursday, assuming they have won or the series is still going on.

I would expect an email with more details tomorrow going out to SSH.

That's about what I'm expecting. I'm anticipating SSH on Tuesday, 10 pack on Wednesday, 4 pack on Thursday, WI Residents on Friday and general public on Saturday. I think it's likely anything past a 10 pack is basically a formality as there is unlikely to be much left unless they limit SSH to 2 per account rather than 4. It's the world series, demand is going to be off the charts...and MLB taking 1/3 of tickets to every game right off the bat is extremely limiting. I'm expecting terrace and SRO to be going for $300 minimum on SH, and possibly a lot more.

I should have bought a Timeless Ticket.

I saw someone post online about the redemption process and it honestly sounds like you can buy three other tickets with it...even the World Series no problem. He requested one of the World Series games and he gets "best available" after whatever has priority before him. Which I assume is whatever MLB gets and anyone who bought their postseason strip. He probably gets in before any pre sale.

Makes me want to get one for the future. I actually almost bought one a few months ago, but I just didn't know what the process would actually be like trying to redeem it for a World Series game.

I spoke with my ticket rep today regarding World Series tickets. He said they still don’t know exactly how many they will get, but a press release will be made Tuesday with the specifics of how tickets will be made available. Unfortunately for me, he didn’t believe that there’d be enough tickets so that 10-pack holders would get their own presale. We’ll see I guess.

It seems that Miller Park has more standing room tickets than other stadiums so that is what I will be looking for, hopefully under $600. I had SRO once and vowed I would never do that again but just want to be in the door if the World Series is in Milwaukee.

Everything drops on the day of, but I would not bet on that for the WS. The demand will be through the roof, if it comes, there will only be three games, and MLB reserves a very large number of tickets for media, special guests, executives, etc. I mean thousands of tickets. All of the Brewers games would be Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

If you get a shot at tickets and can afford it, I would just do that and not split hairs over a few dimes, if you are able.

With MLB taking a huge chunk of tickets -- I've heard anywhere from 10,000 to 15,000 -- there will be a lot less available on the secondary market and for the trickle down to non SSH's.

Thanks. I would love to make the WS but don't think I'd be able to swing the current prices.

Yeah, I anticipate even the presale will be very different than the last two rounds. I wouldn't be surprised at all if all you can get are terrace seats or the bleachers or something. And like I said, would not be surprised if the allotment for SSH is dropped from 4 to 2. I just hope this conversation comes to fruition!

Really hoping they don't drop it from 4 to 2 for SSH. Definitely already made plans to buy 4 tix/game, so some people I promised tickets to will be disappointed.

You can also look at it as you are more likely to get 2 tickets per game if supply is limited. Demand is going to be crazy, if it's 4 per ticket some SSH might not get tickets at all. Hard to complain about the perk either way, I'd understand whichever direction they choose to go.

My tickets from 82. I get the whole convienence thing of electronic tickets, but I sure miss the souvenir aspect having a traditional ticket.

I guess I'm not sure how to post an image. Here is a link. I just put this in the "/img" tool, but it didn't work for some reason

They're offering single game postseason commemorative tickets for $10 and a postseason commemorative ticket full strip on the Ballpark app for $35. Not quite the same but a nice keepsake.

Is it just a generic ticket, or do they reproduce it with your seat location?

I'm thinking it's a generic ticket. I went all the way to the last page before ordering and it doesn't even show you what it looks like.
