Bar Shuttles

bigjase
So, I used Kelly's in April, which I believe cost me $20 and then I got a $20 voucher to spend inside. Anyone know if the bars on Bluemound still have these types of deals if you use the shuttles? Not sure if they changed it for the playoffs.

I think almost all do. I use Steve's on Bluemound, and will usually drink a pitcher or 2 with whoever I'm with prior to taking the shuttle. They've given me 4 passes for buying a pitcher, or else anyone buying a drink they'll give a pass to. Seems way easier than going the voucher route.

Yeah the bluemound area bars all have shuttles. Kelly's, SOBs, Dugout 54, Brewski's and more that I'm missing. Most of them you can go in and buy a drink and get a pass to use the shuttle. Last week the lines were outrageous, over an hour long at some points and with traffic the bar shuttles were much slower than usual getting back and forth. So planning accordingly will be necessary if you want to see first pitch.

I used Kelly's in July, same deal.

Enjoyed it, and it was easy.

As a warning, these shuttles run constantly for 2 hours before gametime, there were about 5,000 people waiting for shuttles after the NLDS games. It was an absolute madhouse.

Ok, great. Thank you! I'm leaving Green Bay around noon tomorrow so I'll be plenty early lol.

Ugh. Yeah, that could get old. Although I parked in general parking for game 1 and sat in the parking lot for an hour before I even moved, so there is that.

I use J&B's on Bluemound (next to Kelly's). I just tip the guy a few bucks and that is all that is required to ride. Probably have used it ten times this season alone. Been great and I've gotten to know the drivers a bit.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

For normal games, the shuttles are amazingly easy and fast. For playoff games...we've taken the shuttles down without too much of an issue (lines at the bar for 30 min that you can drink in). But the lines after have been nuts. Our plan has been to take the shuttle down, then walk back. It's only about a mile and takes less than 20 minutes to walk.

I live on 54th and use Dugout 54 all the time. I can confirm what others have said, get to the bar a bit early and the shuttle drivers can take you right away. Once its say an hour before the game, there will be lines waiting but they tend to cycle fast. For after the game, you will have to wait a long time and waking will probably be a better option. In the past they required you to buy a drink and get a pass but they stopped that maybe 2 years a go. Now its just requested you buy a drink and tip.

For games 161 and 162, I walked up with a cooler/chair and they were nice enough to drop me off at the Molitor lot on their way back after they dropped any other passengers off by the door. Tip well and they don't mind stuff like that.
