NLCS Tickets

Had tickets, then lost them, then almost got them back. I am out of state so I simulataneously called the ticket office as I was buying from the site. I knew my current address wouldn’t work, so I asked the ticket rep how to purchase these as a “long time former WI resident”. She entered my “old address” into the system; I edited my account and crossed my fingers. As all of that was processing, time ran out. So, no tix yet. Tried until noon on the site, but to no avail. They were good seats Terrace Box row 5 I believe. So I’m kinda bummed.

Got two tickets to Game 6 but they are OBS Section 413 row 10 seats 2-3. If the railing is the only obstruction I would think it wouldn't be that bad 10 rows up? Got on at 10AM and by 10:20 got the tickets. Wife got SRO's but declined them. Did that in 2011....never again.

10 rows up you'll be obstructed by the railing at the bottom of the stairs (which start at row 9, I believe). It might be bad, it might not.

You all will be standing a majority of the game anyway, so it probably won't be much of an obstruction.

Got a few obstructed 400 level seats for game 2. Had some in my cart for game 7 but wasn't able to pull the trigger. I regret that now because I think there's a decent chance this series goes the distance (assuming it's LA).

How do you know if they are obstructed view?

And why not pull the trigger on game 7?!? You get a full refund if there is no game, not?

The tickets will say if they're obstructed and what the obstruction is. I had a meeting to get to so I wanted to make sure I at least got the game for this weekend before my cart expired.

So it will be clear even on the electronic tickets if they are considered obstructed view?

Good to know. I sat in 405 last Friday and you can't see the RF or RF corner at all, but they weren't marked obstructed at all. It wasn't a bad seat, but I was curious how that is dictated.

Honestly if I were not SSH I would just do it now to get the seats. You could sign up for 1 seat in the terrace for $340. You could sell opening day alone and be sitting around $280. You'd very likely be saving money if you went to a couple playoff games if the alternative was Stubhub, AND you'd get all the perks of being SSH.

I'm considering this, as I live in Utah, but would come for the WS and don't really feel like this is a game I want play (ie, captcha clicks, guesswork, getting lucky, etc.). If I buy 1 terrace reserve though as a SSH for 2019, am I only eligible for 1 WS seat for 1 game?

I had a friend call today and they told her that at this point they couldn't guarantee WS tickets if you buy season tickets next year. I'd think if all you bought was one ticket at the cheapest price you'd be lowest on the list so unlikely to work. Take it FWIW. Would've been a heck of a strategy 3 weeks ago though.

I believe they're technically "obstructed view" if the plate (and/or maybe the mound) is blocked.

They even flag the new netting as “obstructed view”.

But is this clearly stated even on electronic tickets?

OBS is before the section number.

Any idea how much SRO might be for this series? I really can't afford much at the moment but I'm really hoping to go to Game 2 Saturday. The only one I could make probably, unless there's a Game 7.

For terrace and SRO, you are generally best off waiting until the last minute. The last 500-1000 ticketholders will panic and tank their price, happens every game. Demand might be a little more tough for CS and potentially WS games, but that's how the DS went.

Tried to get tickets again today as the Brewers indicated there would be some with no success. I imagine demand will be quite high from here on out on the secondary market as these games will all be on the weekend, including the World Series if they make it.

I must have clicked on 300 pictures of storefronts, bicycles, traffic lights and buses trying to get something this morning.

Would it be a good idea to maybe have a thread for buying and selling tix so we know true Brewers fans can get them on here rather than StubHub? I got 4 for Terrace Box 407 for game 6 on Friday 19th, and potentially might have 2 spares, dependent on a buddy.

If you go to the trading post forum, only brewerfan.net people can see in there(not guests) and a couple people have some listings up. That would be the place to go.

Cheers! Hoping we finish them off before then, but of the 4 potential games at MP the 19th is the only one I can possible go to.
