NLCS Tickets

I just ditched my SRO only tickets for tomorrow night and picked up solid Terrace level tickets. Worth paying $20 extra dollars.

Beside that, I was able to secure 200 level tickets online to game seven so I can ditch the SRO tickets at a decent profit come Saturday.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

You will want those SRO tickets listed before the game ends tomorrow. Probably close to the minimum price. All the idiots freak out the second they win a big game and go buy tickets before the players leave the field.

I understand Game 7 is going to be HUGE if it happens, but I don’t think tickets will start rising. There won’t be much of a time gap between excitement starting and panic of selling the tickets before Gametime.

Maybe people surprise me, but I have some SRO and I will just list them tomorrow.I think right after the game will be the peak.

Yeah, this is all really accurate. Mine always sell immediately after wins.

Thanks guys. Appreciate the information. Hopefully we will have a nice big lead tomorrow night and I'll sell them as I'm enjoy a game six win.

There are terrace available on stubhub for $65 and $70 right now. Fees will be added of course.

Game 6, right? If it wasn't a 3 hour drive, I'd be hopping on that.

And I can't use my game 7 tickets due to an Ed Sheeran concert on Saturday in Minneapolis. Christmas present that I got my wife...I'll check ahead for October dates next year!

Plus over $30 in fees so about $100 a ticket if you're looking to go to the game tonight.

Really? WOW. StubHub makes out like bandits. 10% on sellers and that'd be nearly 50% on buyers!

On a $65 ticket, SH charges $15.10 service fee and $2.00 fulfillment fee to the buyer. They also take 10% from the seller. Sell gets $58.50 and buyer pays $82.10 per ticket. I figured this all out by clicking on a $65 ticket.

Oh, so there is only a $17.10 fee for the buyer, making a $65 an $82.10 ticket. That's not as bad as it sounded above, but SH sure makes out well. I wonder what cut the Brewers/MLB gets? Maybe they aren't so upset with secondary market sales.

Keep in mind all that goes up more with higher prices. They're doing it like a % rather than saying "our service fee is $15 per ticket or per purchase". Get into the 150-200 tickets and the fees get high. Friend of mine was buying Nebraska/UW tickets a few weeks ago, before the BYU loss the price was still high. So buying 10 tickets was going to cost her over $500 in fees.

I hope she waited. I was at that game paying the $100 face value for tickets. I noticed that tickets were going on SH for as low as $35 on game day.

Yup didn't do it. Waited and UW actually opened up some at Face like two weeks before. hindsight could've waited even more and got way less like you said. BYU loss, Nebraska being winless, combined with rain in the forecast all day and it led to being way less (at least it didn't rain so it was a fun day).

I sold my WIS-ILL game tickets last week before the big drop this week. Got $70 per ticket rather than the $25 going rate this week.

When I checked Game 7 tickets this morning, StubHub appeared to be using a 20% service fee while Vivid Seats (which was cheaper than Stubhub earlier in the year) was at a whopping 25% fee. The $126 tickets to take me and my two young boys would be $480 ($160 per) with all the fees if I had pulled the trigger.

Yeah, it was a fun day. I only recently started using StubHub. Learning a lot about buying tickets a good price. I see myself heading to Milwaukee for some games next year (3+ hour drive) without a ticket and snatching up some good seats late.

Yah, as long as you aren't picky about where you sit it isn't bad to just wait to the last day in the regular season either. I don't think people really keep track of their listings during the season though and you don't see much of a panic to drop prices the last day.

I will say I often get some cheap terrace ticket on Stubhub and then upgrade in the BallPark App. Field Diamond Box ends up costing about $55 a piece. I have no idea if they hold those tickets to sell that way because I got to sit in the closest Field Outfield Box section in the first row for a $27 upgrade. I have seen that option multiple times. It is pretty much my go-to way to get regular season tickets. There are always great upgrade options unless it is some premium game. It helps I have an Associated Bank account which gives me 10% off and early access to the upgrades.

Gametime is a decent option for tickets. It won't be much cheaper than SH or VS but it shows you the actual price, no hidden fees.

It hides the fees until you click on them. StubHub has an option where you can show price with fees.

I remember StubHub trying to be upfront about fees years ago and it totally backfired. People are dumb and focus on what they see when they first open the website.

Face value tickets for tonight are available on the Brewers' website currently. I just had the chance to buy two in section 120 row 21 for $240 each. I didn't (already have tickets for tonight) but was just curious. Currently no availability for Game 7.

I kept checking and eventually I got three Terrace Reserved in section 424 for Game 7 around 5pm last night. Pretty pumped to take my oldest kids (6 & 7 years old), and save the $200+ more it would have cost to buy on the secondary market.
