Is Yelich the series MVP? On base a ton, and the big homer to start the series.

Probably, but hard to say. There was no really dominant, head turning performance. Other options are Burns or Kratz.

Can they just give it to the entire pitching staff?

Jeremy Jeffress is warming.

Why CC, WHY??

Day off before... will have rest after this series.

Not gonna hurt anything.

Yeah and if Dodgers don't sweep it might be several days before the next series starts. Maybe wants to keep him sharp?

Doesn't matter. No reason to risk overworking Burnes (not that I'm saying three innings is overwork) when you have a bunch of pitchers who can throw an inning and then get several days rest.

And maybe he just wants to give Jeffress the honor of being on the mound to clinch.

I don't see the fuss over letting Jeffress finish. You had to PH and it's not like anyone in the pen is a bad P to kind of waste since the roster limits now. I wouldn't put walk prone Freddy in. Just get it over with. you have 4 days off after this.

lol at you guys. Aguilar drilled it and Arenado made a really good play. Be happy.

Yup. He smoked it. 106mph
