But time and time again he has been clutch for us this season and is coming off what should have been a 3-hit night in game one. But you do you.

Not picking on you, but I wish people would not deduct anything from Gameday. From PitchFx strikezone and so forth, it's simply guesswork data, in my opinion. He's not Sale, but he's doing what he's been doing all year. 4 scoreless now. Nobody warming.

Going four scoreless was pretty much perfect world start for Chacin.

If they go in order they get to double switch out Perez, which isn't too bad.

It's that high leverage at-bat that bothers me. The chances of at least one run in that inning would have gone way up with a real hitter in there. I can't see how getting one more inning out of him was likely to have a higher payoff than a potential rally inning.
