Lost in all the justified angst about the Brewers' offensive offensive execution (not a type-o) is that the Rockies look incredibly mediocre from a strategic decision-making standpoint. The Brewers aren't that much more talented but Counsell sure is.

Counsel is the best manager in baseball.

Counsel is taking plenty of heat right if they lose this game. Each manager managed their game and it came down to a walk off in extras. It isn't that far apart and CC made his share of questionable decisions.

They did not have to pitch Guerra, Peralta, Miley or Gio, so they should be fine for tomorrow. Hopefully Chacin can go 4 strong at least (hopefully 5 if he's efficient) and Guerra or one of the lefties can give 3 more.

Yes but we need 4 good innings from somebody tomorrow.

They are throwing whoever they have to tomorrow. This is the reason the treated Hader with kid gloves all year. With the extra days off this is not going to be managed like the regular season. All hands every game.

Can we as a fan base stop with the stupid MVP chant? Yelich has already admitted he and the team don’t really like it and people are doing it mid AB...it’s kind of ridiculous to be honest.

And yet somehow he hasn’t let it bother him. Down 0-2 in the count and works a walk. He doesn’t show it but he has to feel like he HAS to get on every time

Lost in the shuffle is the fact our pitchers went 9 innings of one hit ball. Sure there were 3 hits in the 9th but .... 9 innings of shut down ball.

We had TONS of chances to score more and we still pulled it out.

I feel good. Not worried ... well a little... but let’s celebrate getting a postseason win. No postseason win is a cheap win.

That’s why Granderson stayed on first, the Rockies were too dumb to walk him with someone standing on first.

Not sure why they were so aggressive.

I agree with that. Grandy/team knew that taking 2nd was going to result in an IBB.
