Top 10 Reasons Cubs lost the 2 most important games on their schedule

B-Train

(Other than the fact that the Brewers and Rockies are clearly the better teams at this point in the season)

10. Cubs jerseys were too tight and rigid to swing a bat effectively after several players followed Rizzo's idea of wearing their uniforms on all plane, train, bus, and automobile trips home.

9. They enjoy Wisconsin cheddar cheese with their whine: "We play too many games" "Our Sept. schedule is not fair"

8. Giving Terrance Gore the steal sign while he was in the batter's box as the HP ump was writhing in pain. Bad Karma, man.

7. Bryant and his teammates suffering from PTSD after getting rocked by the crew in 6 of their last 8 meetings.

6. Just having a player (Jesse Chavez) who looks like a character from Fast Times at Ridgemont High on your team is a reason to go home a loser.

5. Joe Maddon is not superstitious. He is littlestitious. Cute Joe, really cute. Just like all your lineup changes and pitching moves.

4. Cubs bats cooled under the tutelage of Chili Davis. Chill out. Just chillin'. Chill.

3. Someone swiped (tag) El Mago's magic wand over the weekend.

2. No rain delays for the Winston Churchill of MLB, Jason Heyward, to give his boys a motivational speech like no other.

And... The number one reason the Cubs lost their last 2 most important games of the 2018 MLB season...

1. "Try not to suck" - Joe Maddon Sorry Joe, but your guys sucked.

I still can't get over how good Chavez was. Sometimes a front office gets credit for making great moves but quite often they simply stumble into good fortune. Not taking anything away from Epstein/Hoyer because they know what they are doing, but the Cubs lucked out big-time with Chavez. 1.15 ERA, 0.79 WHIP and an 8.4 K/BB ratio out of that guy? I still can't believe it.

Cursed by a curtain call cause they tied a game 1-1. You don’t deserve to win if that deserves a curtain call.

yeah, that was so misplaced...

almost like they thought it was over at that point.

lol at silly Cubs fans.
