Not sure if this is the best place to post this, but during the first two NLDS games we discussed how awful the experience would have been during those games if we were playing the Cubs instead of the Rockies. Even though we had a lead for mist if both games, the lead was extremely small so the Cubs fans would have been vocal throughout the entire game, and especially in game 1 when it was tied. Regardless of what happens in this series, not having the Cubs make it to the NLDS made this postseason infinitely more enjoyable in regards to the in-game experience.

AMEN!!!! The post season has been FAR MORE FUN without the Cubs trying to rain on our parade.

But think of how glorious sweeping the cubs in the playoffs would feel

As far as I'm concerned, beating them in the one-game tiebreaker was a playoff sweep. Sure felt like it at least. That was the most nervous I've felt before a game, and most exhilarated I've felt after in a long, long time.

I don’t know if that would have been worth the agony of dealing with them in these games. Plus, imagine the fights that would have broken out?
