Postseason Gear

nodakfan17

So what’s your favorite piece of new Brewers postseason gear?

Where do you plan to make your purchase?

I recall ordering Wild Card gear right away in 2008. In 2011, I waited a few weeks and snagged a pair of clearance items (but sizes and styles were limited). I’ll probably split the difference this year and pickup something from Kohl’s this weekend. Then maybe look for deals down the road. Of course, I wouldn’t mind paying full price for a World Series sweatshirt in a few weeks. :)

I live in Utah and wanted something for Thursday, so I had a really good friend waiting at Miller Park on Monday afternoon. They put the stuff out immediately. He snagged me a Division Champs hoodie and over-nighted it to me. If we make the WS, I'm making the trip.

I was going to order a shirt and hoodie but the style I wanted was sold out of large and x-large on the Brewers website. Very disappointed

I hated the designs and am annoyed by the game times taking a lot of wind out of my sail. Was planning to buy at one of the games...now I will wait for the NLCS where I can attend or just wait for clearance after we lose in the NLDS.

I think it’s all god awfully overpriced...would just buy a T-Shirt.

There's a gray division champs shirt that I desperately want. It's got the roster on the back and its somewhat similar to one I have from 2011. Unfortunately, I live in Baldwin (about 45 minutes east of the Twin Cities). I have tried to contact the team store multiple times, I have left messages, and I get nothing back.

Does anyone know if certain things trickle in online or if it is solely reserved for purchase at the ballpark?

I went there during the all-nighter two nights ago. They were very, very busy up until 11:00PM from what I understand. That might be why they didn't answer.

They said items would be trickling in as demand stays high. I agree with the previous poster -- keep on calling.

Fortunately, I was able to get the last XL "Let's GOOOOOOOOO" shirt in stock.

I like the Our Crew Our October hoodies, I still wear my 2008 postseason one all the time. Just don't know a) what color to get and b) If I should just wait for the World Series hoody.

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but "Division Champion" is nothing I'm going to wear. Sort of like wearing a Bucks shirt that says "2018- #6 seed." I'll get World Series Champions gear though.

I'd wear a division champs shirt/hoodie.

Wouldn't wear generic post season gear. Lose right away, and all that does is remind you of the pain.

World series champs gear I would wear until I die!

I think there's something to be said for winning the division. At the very least it will be a constant reminder to all Cubs fans of how their 2018 season ended.

Beats the Wild Card banner at Miller Park anyway.

No matter what happens from this point on, this feels like a season worth celebrating. Buying and wearing playoff gear is obviously a matter of personal style and preference. I’d never buy Packer playoff gear aside from something proclaiming them Super Bowl champs, but could you fault a Browns fan for loading up on wild card gear if they make the playoffs?

Agreed. It was an improbable and absolutely incredible September. We won our last 8 games (even requiring Game 163) and then won that one on the road. Pretty confident I will never see such an incredible season where we steal the division cruising like a freight train to be the best team in the NL.

Agree on all postseason gear being pretty awful. It is rushed out the door with little to no design effort.

The Brewers regular MLB collection hoodie is awesome. I don't have any of the stuff, it's just more than I care to spend, but the team store stuff, albeit priced ridiculously, truly is better than just about anything you find elsewhere. Just better material and far more comfortable especially on the higher end stuff.

I stopped at Kohl’s during my lunch break.

They had a small selection of division champs gear at full price. There was one sweatshirt I liked, but they were down to just mediums. I had hoped to pickup something I could wear to work next week, but their regular Brewer merchandise was mainly t-shirts and a few jerseys. They probably thought they’d be in full Packer / Badger mode by now. They also wanted full price for a Lucroy jersey.

Why does your Kohls even have a Lucroy jersey? The Kohls I visited had just the official T-Shirts. Of course the Brewers decided to win the division so they have a massive awkward pile of the "Postseason" versioned ones. Kohls tends to have the best selection of Brewers stuff a lot of times...though the deals aren't great.

Shopko is the best around me for clearance.

Different Kohl's stores end up with vastly different inventory, on Brewers and non-Brewers stuff. One of the local stores I went to in the past month (can't remember which, unfortunately) had a variety of Eric Sogard jerseys for full price...though I admit, I didn't see a Lucroy.

It's mostly what they didn't sell when stocking those items sounded like a good idea.
