The Cubs didn't choke or give anything away. The Brewers just played out of their minds starting the end of August and through September, and caught a good team at the end. The Cubs have nothing to hang their heads about. That is a great baseball team, and I fully expect them to win tonight to set up a barnburner of a series starting Thursday.

From reading some post game stuff it sounds like there were a ton of very vocal Brewer fans there. Turnabout's fair play.

 

Even the players in the locker room soaked in champagne talked about hearing all the Brewer fans at Wrigley. I hope the flub players and fans now know what it is like to have opposing fans infiltrate their ball park.

Such an all-or-nothing day. I would put my hatred of the Cubs (mostly their idiot fans tbh) up against anyone's. I was a nervous wreck, but still confident. My greatest day as a Brewer fan since game 5 of the ALCS in 1982.
