He should face Murphy and Zobrist as they both prefer to face righties. If he gets both of them I'd leave him for Baez as well since Rizzo is the really scary bat.

 

If he could end the game with a Baez K followed by our whole team celebrating on Wrigley...

What is with this tag obsession? That was a perfect throw, and probably not a wise choice to run.

 

I guess these comments that Baez is super good at that wasn't BS. They really are pumping up Baez's status over tags? I've seriously never heard compliments before on tagging someone out being noteworthy. There are great tags applied all the time. A perfect Fast ball pitch out and perfect throw by catcher to 2b and it's what a great player at tagging out? My God.

 

It all goes back to the WBC where he was celebrating an out as the throw was coming. It was so cool so they never stop talking about it now.

 

It's become laughable now because that tag was just that. A tag. It's so silly, and ESPN has become consumed by it.

Just the fact that Jaime freaking Garcia is pitching in this big of a game for the Cubs shows how spent this pen is.

 

I'd say Maddon is saving his best pen guys for tomorrow, but he already used all of them LOL

 

If all things play out and Lester gets rocked tomorrow, the cubs are probably looking at a very quick exit.

Their pen was always terrible. I remember having arguments on here with people before the season.
