Five solid? Come on guys. Gio just tossed five SCORELESS innings in a game to try to win the division.

And he was hit hard while doing it. At least 3 balls caught at the track. Which is why he was solid.

 

Whew. Glad warning track shots aren’t worth like half a run or something.

Is the eye roll because it’s not true? (It is). Or is because I shouldn’t be worried about him? Which could have been your post as mine was merely an observation.

Leave Junior in until he gives up a run. Maybe he closes this out?

 

He is not going to throw that many pitches.

 

He's already thrown 30 coming out of the bullpen. Wouldn't be a crazy stretch depending on how he does.
