The good news is that Counsell can see what's happening with the Cubs/Cards game and can adjust on the fly. If Cubs take a huge lead and Brewers are scuffling he can go to Lyles or someone else. If Cards have a lead, he can choose to go all out for the W.

 

Is anyone going to watch football? Between the 4 baseball games involving Chicago, LA, Denver and Milwaukee that us a lot of viewers skewed towards the diamond.

Would really be nice for the Crew to jump out to a big lead and be able to pitch Peralta, Lyles, Jennings, and Alberts. A 9-2 win coupled with a Cubs loss would be ideal.

 

I’ll probably keep tabs on the Packers game but my focus will be baseball.

I really really hope we are playing to win this game no matter what the Cubs do or are doing. The only way we aren't using our best arms is if we are down 18-0 in the 8th... and even then we are using Jennings, Barnes, etc or guys who might be needed this year yet who haven't thrown as much lately.

 

You play to avoid the sudden death game at all reasonable costs.

I will have several screens going on Sunday.

 

I just hope that if we tie, the Dodgers and Rockies do, too, as the early game is much better for me. My needs take priority.

Nope Sunday is still football only for national tv but if you live out of market it will be free on MLB.tv

Have to miss the football game because of work, but I'll be glued to the Brewer game and have a gamecast going on my phone to watch the Cubs lose. A win and Yelich getting enough RBIs for the Triple Crown would be incredible.
