Haven't seen this mentioned anyplace, thought I'd mention it here.

 

Christian Yelich (elbow) will be re-evaluated on Monday.

 

Yelich was removed from the eighth inning of Sunday's win over the Pirates after being hit by pitch on his right elbow. Yelich remained in the game to run the bases, and even swiped second base, but was replaced the next half inning defensively. He's considered day-to-day.

Counsell said he had a pretty good goose egg on his elbow during his post game comments. I suppose we'll see in the next hour or so if he's in the line up.

 

Immediately after he got plunked on the elbow yesterday I cringed. I don't think he was wearing any type of elbow guard.
