2018-09-21: Brewers (Chacín) at Pirates (Nova) 6:05 PM CDT [Brewers win, 8-3 -- Offense explodes in 6th, with 3 HR]

Eye Black

Also, that Shaw ejection was absolute garbage. Guy barks one time while walking away without even looking at the ump and he gets tossed. That ump should be suspended a game. I don't care if it's an F bomb, they drop F bombs all the time.

Hope Kratz hits another here.

I wonder if the ump did it because the crowd is empty so it sounded extra loud?

Can anyone get the catcher who caught 2 perfect games?

Here is another beauty, who is the only player to turn an unassisted triple play in the world series?

Bill Wamsganss.

awesome if not cheating.

Catcher was Ron Hassey, he only went on to play in 9 more games after catching his second perfecto

Nah, no cheating. That’s a classic question

Kratz in a fight would’ve been great. [sarcasm]Then maybe Pina can play.[/sarcasm]

So if Judge came back after that injury and hit well when he played but only played 2 of every 5 or 6 games you didn't think people would ask what's up? Pina came off the DL on July 20, two months ago. He's raised his BA 17 pts since then with sporadic playing time.

Yes if he hurt his Shoulder and multiple times missed games because of soreness and then he got hit in the injured shoulder by a pitch that then ran up into his face. I would completely expect sporadic playing time. This is beyond a non issue.

Shaw was definitely doing some hawing after the 2-0 pitch hit the corner and was called a strike. So it, probably, wasn't just the fbomb.

Per McCalvy

Random fact of the night: Today marks three years since the Brewers officially hired David Stearns as GM.

A day that should be celebrated by all Brewers fans. What a gem.

On the Kratz general topic. I was randomly watching MLB network like a month ago and they were talking to a Yankees young player. I don't recall who, someone who had just come up and doing well, don't really recall the circumstances. But the guy randomly got on a tangent about Kratz, either helping learn this or that, or maybe giving him a nickname. Said how he's happy for him to get his shot in MKE. Basically it's some random young player going on how good of a dude Kratz is, completely unprompted. So good for Kratz, this stretch here and potential playoff run is probably gonna make the grind of the last 15 years totally worth it for him. Good for him.

I am so confused by how bad Josh Bell has been. I know he hit a HR tonight but it was only his 11th. Last year he hit 26 as a rookie. How do you fall that far off over a single season. His plate discipline has been fine, his doubles power has been fine, he has been mostly healthy all year. His advanced stats like wRC+ are even fine. He somehow has been just as valuable while dropping 15 HR on the season.

Don't think someone would have asked the manager, "hey is Judge's shoulder still bothering him? He sure seems to be hitting well." Other here say it's because of the pitching matchups so it doesn't seem as clear as you say

I think it was either Rick Vaughn or Willie Mays Hayes
