Playoff Tickets-Lottery?

I think the price would fall because Brewers fans will not want to take time out of the day/weekend to see a team down 0-2 in a best of 5. I highly doubt I would go to the games if that's the case. The secondary market will be flooded.

But that's exactly what happened to the 82 Brewers. Down 0-2, and won 3 in a row to advance.

I don't especially dislike going to Cubs games. They give me a chance to see sad/angry/disillusioned/worried Cubs fans after a Brewers win. They're not so mouthy then.

I didn't buy the postseason strip because the Miller Park experience has soured on me. I despise waiting in traffic to park. The entrance lines are too slow. The food is spotty and at it's best is pretty unremarkable. The pace of action seems so slow to me. I'm usually too tired to last a whole game and then exhausted the next day. My days as a 20-pack holder are on hold for now. Maybe I need some time away from MP to rekindle my appreciation of it.

Yes, but the mindset of most people will be that the series is over. I sympathize with your grievances. I park at or near Target though and come from the West, so there is no traffic really. Easy out too. I enjoy the walk through the park by the VA to the stadium, and I time it just right, or meet someone in the lot for tailgating.

I rarely eat the food, but I think a few things are pretty good, and at least better than most sports stadiums. I have young kids, so during the regular season I don't see all the action anyway, we're up and moving around a lot.

The 20-pk was awesome for me this year and there was no hesitation to renew. I had something to do all summer with the kids and it wasn't as much of a commitment as I thought, the games were well spaced out.

I'm glad you and your kids enjoy the games.

My daughter never really enjoyed the game day experience, so that's another part of why I'm discontinuing our package.

I didn't see anybody list off prices. I'll post the single game rate by wc-ds/CS/WS. These are based on what I received as a SSH, but are the single game rates(different than the rates a SSH would have paid).

Field Diamond platinum - 230/315/405

Field Diamond box - 210/290/385

field infield platinum - 135/220/380

field infield box - 125/200/360

field outfield box - 85/165/310

field bleachers - 55/100/240

loge diamond box - 100/185/320

loge infield box - 85/165/310

loge outfield box - 65/125/270

loge bleachers - 50/90/225

club infield/outfield box - 85/165/310

terrace box - 50/90/225

terrace reserved - 40/70/200

$200 for Terrace? No thanks. Comparatively, $405 for Diamond box seems somewhat reasonable though.

Lol I’d pay that in a heart beat. Will be $800+ on the secondary market.

Anyone here a 10 pack ticketholder? I received the following from my account rep on 9/14 but never received the email on 9/20. I don't know if there's a special URL or it's just the regular My Brewers Tickets site.

Please see below for your 10 Pack Postseason Opportunity Information:

• Thursday, Sept 20th – Email sent to 10-Pack Holders regarding their WC/NLDS Postseason Ticket Opportunity on Sept 25th.

• Tuesday, Sept 25th – Another email will be sent in the morning as a reminder of the presale which will begin at 10am.

• Tickets will be sold online ONLY and digital delivery will be the ONLY option.

• There will be another sale for 10 pack customers to purchase NLCS tickets at a later date.

I tried contacting my rep today and got his out of office message, although he did send out the following. I still don't know if there's a special URL or not.

As the 2018 Postseason draws near, here are few things to keep in mind in regards to online presales and digital ticketing:

• To access the Postseason sales next week you MUST have your account number. The tickets will be sold online only and digital delivery will be the only option. You will be able to see your ticket locations right away upon purchase, but barcodes will not appear in the app or be available in My Brewers Tickets for printing until game day.

• Forwarding of any individual postseason tickets will also be delayed until after the final Regular Season home game and we are confirmed to play a game.

• When accessing your My Brewers Tickets account, a desktop or laptop computer works best. If you have to use a phone or tablet make sure to click the link at the bottom of the screen that says ‘My Brewers Tickets Desktop’ prior to logging in.

• When you login to your My Brewers Tickets account you MUST use your account number as the login ID. Your email address will NOT work.

• Your My Brewers Tickets account MUST be linked to MLB.com in order to have access to the tickets. When linking the account the ‘Nickname’ can be anything.

• To use your digital tickets you can either have them scanned on your smartphone via the MLB Ballpark App, or print off paper copies from your My Brewers Tickets account.

Did anyone receive anything different? I would have expected a professional looking email with details instead of just some details in the weekly Brewers Bits email my rep sends.

Buy preferred parking ahead of time. Bring Cousins subs, chips & soda. Much better/cheaper than ballpark food. Use the associated bank check in gate, much quicker.

In 2011 I sold 3 tickets for ONE playoff game for $3000 total.Club section behind plate. Paid for the rest of the playoffs!

Im selling this season too. Those Cubs fans will be paying a pretty penny!I'll fleece them & sell to my friends for face value.GOBREWERS!!!

There is a target in walking distance of Miller Park?

Always looking for free parking, afraid to park in the VA lot any longer since I heard they are cracking down on the Brewers freeloaders.

Does anyone else remember when Cubs fans were decent people for the most part. I can remember to the day when they all became a bunch of a**holes. If anybody is wondering what the date was, I’ll give you a hint. It was a fall day in November 2016.

And the Cubs loss to the White Sox today was everything they deserved. For the past 2weeks Cubs fans have been talking about how easy it was going to be to go to the South side and sweep the Sox.

I think the digital-only delivery is MLB’s attempt to slow down selling tickets. It sounds like you don’t get the actual barcode for your seat until game day, so I don’t think you can sell online until then.

Just make sure you get enough $ from those Cubs fans. We all care about that....

uhhh, just go or find some passionate Brewers fans to go. Sell to them for whatever. Who cares? Keep the enemy out.

There’s free street parking on the numbered side streets off of National, just west of 4th base.

That is only for single game ticket sales. If you have a playoff strip you get them ahead of time and can list them early.

Doing digital delivery and not giving them to you until day of game is a Brewers thing. They are doing that to slow down resale of tickets. Which makes sense because it makes it less like for people who just want to sell to actually get them. Less Cub fans that way in theory.

I thought the price structure for the world series was a bit stupid too. That said, general public won't have a shot at any of the good tickets. Bleachers, loge outfield, terrace... that's probably about all that would be available. I wonder if standing room only will be the same price as terrace.

Depends how far you're willing to walk after parking. I've parked for free every game near 51st and Wisconsin. 20 minute walk.

My wife and I have been big fans of parking at a local watering hole and taking the shuttle. Gets you in and out quickly and easily.

I would have two courses of action ready to go at 10am: Have your my Brewers ticket account ready, but in another browser just have the postseason page open. After re-reading the SSH email this may be something separate from MBTA. The other presales this year have been under special offers.

It looks like there will be a link for the specific pre-sale, but remember that your password is your account #, not your email. I would assume that will be on the postseason page you mentioned. Good luck.

I had to stop doing this because the local bar would run shuttles for 2 hours before the game. They have 2 shuttles that seat about 15 people each. They were regularly shuttling well over 100 people to games.

After waiting over an hour to get on a shuttle after the game, that was the end of shuttling for me. I'll park on Wells and walk down.

The tickets I just bought are better than the seats I got as a SSH -- even though they are in the same section (Terrace Box)

Ridiculous.
