Cardinals and Cubs both winning, this isn’t good.

Beating good teams too. Meanwhile, the Pirates and Reds.............

 

It is getting to be pretty excruciating that the Cardinals just won't go away. That team scares the crap out of me.

It isn't the Cardinals that are infuriating. They are doing what a playoff team should do this time of year. The infuriating thing is losing 3 of five to the Pirates and Reds and looking pretty darn meek in those three losses. If the Brewers were doing what they are supposed to do it wouldn't matter what the Cards do. Now it does.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

You are 100% correct. Scoreboard watching while watching the Brewers offense lay an egg is just frustrating. Not getting any help from so-called playoff contenders this week is frustrating as well.

Having Braun hit with two outs and the bases empty seems pointless too. Could have inserted him for Broxton.
