- Nationals beat the Braves, which is good for the Brewers overall-record wise.

- Houston beat the DBacks, which all but eliminates the DBacks from Wild Card contention. They are still mathematically alive, though, so hopefully they play their hearts out against the Cubs this week.

- Reds beat the Cubs, so the Brewers don't lose ground in the division race. Cubs are really scuffling on offense, and their cobbled together rotation and pen is magically keeping them in games. Will it last?

- Rockies beat the Giants after dropping the first two in the series. Rockies and Dodgers are neck-and-neck for that division.

- The Cardinals finally managed to take one from the Dodgers after dropping the first three games of the series.

 

The Brewers need to play well this week to keep their head above the Rockies/Dodgers/Cardinals Wild Card jumble.
